As a young boy, I never decided on what kind of career I wanted to do; not many kids do as a teenager. When I finished school, I worked with my father for a while, making ballroom dancing shoes. I was there working with him for just over six months.
I knew I was quite good at art and being creative with my hands that came from my parents then I decided to try out hairdressing. I enrolled in hairdressing school and worked with my uncle at his barbershop in Central London.
I knew from there barbering was for me. I learned to be a barber the old fashioned way sweeping the floors washing hair, standing watching him cut hair for over a year. I decided then to move on. I worked in a couple of barbershops in London. I gained a lot of experience working with some of the best barbers I know.
Early in my career, my father passed away, he believed in me, and a short time after I started working Back with my uncle in the city I worked there with him for over ten years.
I became the best I can be in my trade learning the Old arts of barbering and mixing it with the modern Styles. Still, something was missing in my heart. I knew all the years of hard work I put in becoming a barber I needed to start my own Barbershop.
I decided to open in Enfield Town, local, to me the shop at St Onge Parade. It has a long history of being a barbershop on that parade since 1918 once I found out the history of it I knew I had to continue the legacy of the shop I made some readjustment to the shop. However, the legacy is still there, and I will do the best I can and try and give the best haircuts possible I will continue what I do best is being a barber.
